- Being aware of when you need your own space, emotionally and physically is extremely healthy.
- Plan ‘space’ in for yourself.
- Appreciate that having your own space is a gift and allow other to have their own space too.
- If not having enough space becomes an issue, it is better to vocalise this in an appropriate manner, than end up feeling smothered and hemmed in which will be detrimental to the relationship.
