The action of wasting time, delaying tactics, avoidance.

Practical Tips

  1. Be aware that every moment in life is precious.
  2. We forget about the shortness of our lives…….. live for today.
  3. Don’t fill everyday with ‘busyness’, fill it with whatever fulfils your Values (what is important to you).
  4. Make everyday count.
  5. Ask yourself the QQ (Quality Question); Is what I am doing now, worth spending my precious time on?

The only time I will allow myself to feel like I’m…..Time Wasting, is when it is done at a conscious level and it suits me.

DC066 Ringing up a supplier (in my case Virgin), on an 0845 no, so already you are trying to keep it short, then it being answered by a foreign person, who always starts by asking how your day is!  Then not understanding your enquiry!  Guaranteed to get you reaching for the brandy bottle!

DC127 I’m sat in a garage waiting for my car to be serviced. I’ve brought all kinds of things with me and a great long list of things to do. Lots of distractions, canned music and can I focus?! Yes the atmosphere isn’t ideal but neither am I trying very hard. Maybe my list is a bit overwhelming too.
