124 S10 Negative Emotion – Suspicious

Having or showing a cautious distrust of someone or something.
Causing one to have the idea or impression that something or someone is of questionable, dishonest, or dangerous character or condition.

Practical Tips

  1. Work out where your suspicions have come from, is this about you or them?
  2. If it’s a pattern within you, look for the trigger, awareness will help you understand your thoughts.
  3. Blowing something out of proportion can distract you from your daily life, so perhaps go with the benefit of the doubt until you have more concrete information.
  4. Know that everything comes ‘out in the wash’, so relax.

Beliefs and Affirmations

I am able to look at situations in a balanced way, allowing my suspicions to be based on facts rather than paranoia.

(How to make it very HARD to feel the negative emotion)

The only time I will allow myself to feel……………..Suspicious, is when I have good cause to!

Example Challenges

Just got a text from boyfriend of 3 months,  cancelling date, twice on the trot. Don’t know how to react. (DC004)
