Being afraid of the impending threat that others do not see you in a favourable manner.

Practical Tips

To keep a balanced mind-set we have to be able to deal with ‘Not Being Liked’ by everyone, as this is reality. Mastering this will free you up to move forward in your life; taking steps and risks that may jeopardise friendships / relationships.

  1. Appreciate that when our Values (what’s important to us) conflict with others, if they are of the personality to take offence or dislike, they will do.
  2. Realise that the dislike from them, is about them, not you.
  3. Let go of the responsibility for keeping others happy / entertained / buoyant / inspired etc., unless you choose to do so.
  4. Appreciate that as we progress our energy changes, others may not like our new energy and they may show that in whichever way they are programmed to.

I appreciate and can embrace the fact that to progress in life, you cannot be friends with everybody!

The only time I will allow myself to feel the….Fear of Not Being Liked, is when it becomes a threat to me and mine.

Example Challenges

I get stressed when my mobile battery dies and I cant charge it. I panic and get anxious as someone might want to get in touch, they may have messaged me and I am not able to get back to them so they might get cross! (DC078)
