Empty Nest Syndrome
A general feeling of loneliness that parents or guardians may feel when one or more of their children leave home.
- Focus on the benefits to your child’s life of moving out and on in their life.
- See this as a new era for you and for them, embrace it with excitement and enthusiasm.
- Share you thoughts with someone close to you (other than your child).
- Write your child a letter, expressing your love and gratitude for having them over the last ‘x’ years.
Beliefs and Affirmations
I am able to connect emotionally where ever my children are in the world, to the degree I feel content that they are happily getting on with their life’s journey.
